Question · Q2 2025
Aniket Mittal asked for reasons behind the lower wind PLF in the quarter and its deviation from P90 levels. He also requested details on the execution timeline for the C&I portfolio and inquired about the stability of finance costs despite rising debt, as well as the size of a recent provision write-back.
Answer
Sumant Sinha, Founder, Chairman and CEO, explained the 300 basis point drop in wind PLF is at a P90 level, reflecting conservatism after several weak wind years. He stated half of the 1.3 GW C&I portfolio will be commissioned this year. CFO Kailash Vaswani attributed stable finance costs to hedging currency exposures and refinancing debt at lower rates. Mr. Vaswani also quantified the O&M provision reversal at approximately INR 60 crores.
