Bill Anderson's questions to DOCUSIGN (DOCU) leadership • Q2 2026

Question

Bill Anderson asked about the drivers behind Docusign's improved gross retention and whether further improvements are expected in the second half of the fiscal year and beyond.

Answer

CFO Blake Grayson attributed the improvement in dollar net retention rates (from 98% to 102% over 18 months) largely to operational execution, including proactive engagement with customers on renewals. He noted opportunities for further improvement in gross retention and expansion driven by IAM, which together can unlock long-term growth.
