Chris Byrne is a Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital in New York, specializing in private equity investments across sectors such as business services, consumer, healthcare, industrials, retail, and technology. Over his more than ten-year career, he has overseen origination, transaction structuring, and post-closing growth strategies for portfolio companies, leading the execution of numerous successful transactions. Byrne began his career in Citigroup’s investment banking division, later joining Brazos Private Equity Partners and the direct private equity team at CPPIB before moving to H.I.G. Capital. He holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University.
