Luis Müller, Cohu's President and CEO, reported Q4 utilization rates for IDMs were slightly over 76% and OSATs slightly over 75%. For Q1, he anticipates OSAT utilization may increase faster than IDMs. Q4 segment utilization rates were Compute 78%, Auto 75%, Industrial 77%, Mobile 72%, and Consumer 76%. For Q1, he sees the biggest momentum in mobile, potentially crossing 75%, with compute continuing to rise. Regarding the analog and mixed-signal win, Luis Müller explained it's with a large automotive mixed-signal supplier, deploying testers into two of their three major business units for digital controllers and PMIC devices used in data centers, with acceleration expected towards mid-year.
