Executive Brian Harris called the idea reasonable but stated nothing is currently underway. He mentioned that while they have been approached for sidecar-type fund management deals, likely with insurance companies, the immediate focus is deploying Ladder's own significant capital into attractive investments for its shareholders. He suggested such partnerships could become more interesting after the company originates another ~$2 billion in loans.
