Question
Asked about the possibility of partnering with a clinical lab for NAD testing to gather patient data and whether there are viable ways for individuals to accurately measure their NAD levels.
Answer
The company explained that measuring NAD levels in blood is not a very useful indicator; measuring in tissue cells is what matters, but this is invasive and difficult in humans. While MRI technology can measure NAD in the brain, it is very expensive and not widely available for individual use, though it is used in research. A partnership for blood testing would likely be more of a marketing exercise than a scientific one due to the limited value of the data.
