Michael Herron's questions to Gaming and Leisure Properties Inc (GLPI) leadership • Q4 2024
Question
Michael Herron of Green Tree Advisors inquired about GLPI's view on the New Hampshire historical horse racing segment and whether a potential Cordish project there falls under their co-investment agreement. He also asked for the reason behind the early five-year extension of the Boyd lease.
Answer
SVP & Chief Development Officer Steven Ladany confirmed they have not had conversations with Cordish about the New Hampshire project, as Cordish has an existing JV partner there, which GLPI respects. CFO Desiree Burke addressed the Boyd lease, stating there were no special adjustments or reasons for the early extension beyond Boyd fulfilling its requirement to provide notice, and that GLPI was excited about the extension.
