Min-ha Choi's questions to KT (KT) leadership

Question · Q4 2025

Min-ha Choi from Samsung Securities asked for the outlook on KT's wireless business following subscriber churn due to the data breach cancellation fee waiver, and sought clarification on why KT's B2B growth appears slower than industry peers, along with the 2026 B2B outlook.

Answer

Min Jang, CFO of KT Corporation, confirmed that approximately 230,000 subscribers left during the 14-day cancellation fee waiver period, but the company still achieved a net addition of subscribers for the full year, which will support 2026 wireless revenues. The CFO indicated that while double-digit growth is not expected for wireless, the focus will be on operational efficiency through rationalizing selling expenses, distribution, and improving offerings to protect the bottom line. For B2B growth, Min Jang clarified that when combining KT Cloud's revenue with other B2B segments (enterprise internet, leased line, data center, AI), the year-over-year growth rate was 6%, which is not considered low given KT's market share. The CFO highlighted KT Cloud's strong 27.4% year-over-year growth, which is expected to continue.
