Question · Q4 2025
Mina Choi from Samsung Securities asked about the outlook for KT's wireless business following subscriber churn due to the data breach compensation package and the reasons behind the B2B segment's growth rate appearing slower compared to industry peers, along with its 2026 outlook.
Answer
KT CFO Min Jang acknowledged a churn of 230,000 wireless subscribers during the 14-day waiver period but clarified that the company achieved a net addition on a full-year basis, which will support 2026 wireless revenue. He indicated that while high growth is not expected in wireless, KT will focus on operational efficiency through rationalizing selling expenses, distribution, and improved offerings to maintain profitability. For B2B, the CFO explained that when including KT Cloud revenue, the combined B2B growth was 6% year-over-year, which is not considered low given the market size and share. He highlighted KT Cloud's strong 27.4% year-over-year growth, expecting this trend to continue.
