Palak Chandak of Citigroup questioned the unchanged guidance for paying user decline despite recent churn outperformance and asked about the timeline, investment focus, and monetization plan for the upcoming Dash self-serve launch.
Answer
CFO Tim Regan stated that while FormSwift is performing well, it's still expected to account for about half of the guided 300,000 paying user decline for the year, with the rest from managed sales down-sells. Co-Founder & CEO Drew Houston added that the Dash self-serve version is planned for the second half of the year to unlock the self-serve base. Monetization will involve standalone subscriptions and add-on packages for existing FSS customers. Tim Regan clarified that Dash is not expected to contribute meaningfully to revenue growth in the near term.
