Question · Q3 2025
Yiling Sun asked for quantification of content growth opportunities from 3nm and 2nm node transitions into next year. She also inquired about the expected incremental gross margin benefit from the ramp-up of the KSP and Colorado fabs.
Answer
CEO Dave Reeder discussed content growth from node transitions across liquid filtration, 3D NAND (Moly), and CMP slurries (2x POR wins at N2 vs N5), but noted advanced nodes are still a small portion (5%) of total wafer starts. CFO Linda LaGorga explained that while new facilities are strategic with state-of-the-art processes, the main gross margin improvement will come from increased volume and utilization across all underutilized facilities, rather than a direct marginal benefit from the new fabs alone.
