Jean-Christophe Flatin has built an impressive career marked by over 30 years of international leadership, demonstrating deep expertise in scaling businesses and driving innovation. His academic foundation, underscored by a Master’s degree in Management from ESCP Europe, has been fundamental in equipping him for dynamic global roles.

Before his tenure at OTLY, he played a pivotal role at Mars, Incorporated, where he held several significant positions including Global CEO and President of the Royal Canin business, President of the Global Chocolate division, and later, President of Innovation, Science, Technology, and Mars Edge. These roles allowed him to consistently drive growth and operational excellence across diverse product lines and markets.

At OTLY, his leadership has been transformative. After joining as Global President in June 2022, he advanced to the role of Chief Executive Officer on June 1, 2023, where he has been instrumental in streamlining the organizational structure and spearheading strategic initiatives for profitable growth. His focus on cost and resource efficiencies, along with a renewed emphasis on innovation and sustainability, continues to shape the company’s forward trajectory.
