Fabrício Cunha de Almeida

Fabrício Cunha de Almeida is a seasoned legal professional who has played a pivotal role at XP since 2013. He has served as General Counsel, contributing significantly to the company’s legal and compliance frameworks.

Prior to his tenure at XP, he gained extensive experience in corporate law at Barbosa, Müßnich & Aragão between 2005 and 2011, which laid the foundation for his expertise in capital markets and legal governance.

Educated in Brazil, he holds a bachelor’s degree in law and a postgraduate degree specializing in corporate law and capital markets, credentials that have underpinned his professional success and informed his contributions to XP’s growth and regulatory adherence.

Since his appointment as a board member in November 2019, he has continued to shape the company’s strategic decisions, maintaining his role as General Counsel even after stepping down from the board in May 2024, ensuring continuity and stability in XP’s legal affairs.
