Jim Gubitosi

Jim Gubitosi, CFA, serves as Co-Chief Investment Officer at Income Research + Management (IR+M) in Boston, where he leads the investment team alongside his Co-CIO partner, guiding all investment activities and decisions for the firm since 2020. In his current role, Jim is responsible for overseeing portfolio strategy and investment results across the firm’s fixed income offerings, which span the duration spectrum and include custom solutions for institutional and private clients.

Jim’s investment focus centers on the fixed income asset class, with specific expertise in securitized products such as commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), government bonds, and broader commercial real estate debt instruments. He is a recognized authority in these sectors, frequently speaking on market trends and investment strategies in CMBS and commercial real estate.

Prior to his Co-CIO role, Jim spent over a decade as a Portfolio Manager at IR+M and was previously a Senior Analyst at Financial Architects Partners. He holds a BBA in Finance from Boston University School of Management and is a CFA charterholder, reflecting his deep expertise in portfolio management, credit analysis, and active risk management for institutional investors.
