Lawson Fancher

Lawson Fancher is the Co-Founder and Principal of Peregrine Oil & Gas LP, part of Peregrine Capital Management LLC, based in Houston, Texas. In his current leadership role, he oversees the company's operations and strategic direction, focusing particularly on the exploration and production (E&P) of oil and gas resources in the upstream energy sector.

Fancher specializes in the evaluation and exploitation of hydrocarbon assets, with notable expertise in reservoir engineering and asset valuation across the Gulf of Mexico and other U.S. energy basins. His focus is on traditional energy asset classes, including oil and natural gas reserves and related upstream E&P ventures.

Over a career spanning more than four decades, Fancher began at Shell Oil Company in 1978 and held senior roles at multiple public and private energy firms, including Transworld Exploration and Production and Mark Producing, before co-founding Peregrine. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University and is recognized for his extensive contributions to asset evaluation and strategic business growth within the U.S. oil and gas industry.
