Jeffrey Helman

Jeffrey Mark Helman is Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Engle Capital Management, L.P., a hedge fund advisory firm he founded in 2014. Headquartered in New York, Helman oversees the firm’s long/short equity strategy, focusing on fundamentally driven investments in companies undergoing transformative change, particularly those with market capitalizations between $1 billion and $10 billion. He is responsible for overall portfolio management, investment analysis, and implementation of Engle’s process-oriented approach to generating repeatable high absolute returns.

Prior to founding Engle Capital, Helman was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Scout Capital Management LLC, where he gained significant expertise analyzing equity investments for institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals. At Engle, he has built a track record concentrating on sectors including consumer discretionary, industrials, and technology, with a focus on businesses positioned for substantial operational or strategic change.

Helman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania, underscoring his strong analytical foundation.
