Alexander Shoghi

Alexander Shoghi is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Portfolio Manager at Oasis Management Company Ltd., a Hong Kong-based private investment firm, since 2005. Operating from Austin, Texas, he manages U.S. activities for Oasis and is responsible for overseeing investment strategies and portfolio construction, often interfacing with board directors and corporate management teams.

Mr. Shoghi focuses on public equities, with a particular emphasis on Asian and U.S. markets, and has been associated with activist investing and event-driven strategies, including activist short-selling and involvement in special situations across various asset classes. His sector expertise spans international equities, especially in Asia, as well as complex and high-impact capital markets transactions.

Before joining Oasis, he worked in Asian Equity Sales at Lehman Brothers, providing him with deep familiarity in regional markets and cross-border investment.
