Sina Toussi

Sina Toussi is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Two Seas Capital, a New York-based investment firm specializing in litigation-driven and event-driven investments. Under his leadership, the firm focuses on uncovering opportunities arising from restructurings, bankruptcies, commercial disputes, corporate malfeasance, and regulatory events, with targeted exposure to sectors such as biotechnology and AI infrastructure. He is recognized for his expertise in identifying value where market inefficiencies are driven by legal or regulatory catalysts, and his firm manages over $2 billion in assets as of 2025.

Toussi’s career spans more than 17 years in special situations, distressed securities, and litigation finance. Before founding Two Seas Capital, he was Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer at VR Capital Group—an alternative asset manager focused on distressed and event-driven opportunities—and previously served as Partner and Head of Distressed Debt Research at One East Capital Advisors. His earlier roles include practicing as a corporate restructuring attorney at leading law firms Skadden Arps and Willkie Farr, and serving as General Counsel and Partner in multi-strategy hedge funds.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School. Beyond his investment accomplishments, Toussi is active in philanthropy, including scholarship support at Cornell and service on advisory boards for youth charities in New York, reflecting a commitment to mentoring and education.
