Madeline Hume

Madeline Hume is a Senior Research Analyst at AlphaCore Capital LLC, based in San Diego, CA, where she leads research initiatives focused on alternative investments and multi-asset strategies. Her responsibilities include conducting in-depth analysis and due diligence on a range of alternative asset classes, including cryptocurrencies, real estate, and liquid alternatives, to support portfolio construction and risk management for AlphaCore’s clients.

Prior to joining AlphaCore Capital, Madeline served as a Senior Research Analyst at Morningstar, where she specialized in emerging asset classes, notably digital assets and cryptocurrencies, as well as multi-asset and liquid alternative strategies. During her tenure at Morningstar, she provided thought leadership on topics such as target-date funds, structured products, and the evolving role of cryptocurrencies in institutional portfolios.

Madeline holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Gies College of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
