Terry Riley

Terry Riley is a partner at F&V Capital Management, LLC, a boutique investment firm based in New York. As a core portfolio manager, he is primarily responsible for managing the FVCM U.S. Equity Fund, leveraging a disciplined value-oriented investment approach known as Growth at a Reasonable Price (GARP). Riley has distinguished himself by consistently generating outperformance relative to the S&P 500, emphasizing bottom-up stock selection and rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis of U.S. equities.

Riley's investment focus centers on the American equity market, managing U.S. equity portfolios and mandates for both institutional and private clients. His process prioritizes companies with strong management, prudent financial structures, and proven records of shareholder value creation, while carefully mitigating risk and adhering to high compliance and ethical standards.

Prior to co-founding F&V Capital Management in 2008, Terry Riley was a Managing Director and portfolio manager at HVB Capital Management, Inc. (part of UniCredit Group), and also served in portfolio management and equity research roles at New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Co. and Standard & Poor's Corp. He holds a B.S. from Rider University and an M.B.A. with distinction from New York University, is a CFA Charterholder, and is recognized for his deep expertise in U.S. large-cap equity strategies.
