Ian Joyce

Ian Joyce is a Portfolio Manager and Alternatives Sourcing Manager at Resonant Capital Advisors, LLC, based in Madison, WI. In his current role, he leads the alternatives team’s initiatives in screening and underwriting new private investment opportunities, and works closely with the program director on portfolio oversight. He also serves as a portfolio manager within client relationships, actively managing the firm’s internal large-cap and mid-cap equity strategies.

His investment focus encompasses private investments across alternative asset classes as well as marketable securities, with a particular emphasis on sourcing and evaluating opportunities in private markets and overseeing equity strategy implementation for institutional and high-net-worth clients. Before joining Resonant, Joyce held roles as Lead Investment and Operations Analyst at the same firm, and previously served as a Hedge Fund Analyst at Hovde Capital Advisors, gaining experience in both hedge fund and family office environments.

Joyce holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, where he was also captain of the men’s basketball team. He is recognized for his expertise in alternative investments, public equities, and portfolio management for multi-generational families and institutional investors.
