David Volpe

David A. Volpe, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Emerald Mutual Fund Advisers Trust and serves as Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at Emerald Advisers, LLC, based in King of Prussia, PA. He leads the Emerald Mid Cap Growth and Emerald Growth Opportunities portfolios, co-manages the Emerald Insights Fund, and recently managed the launch of the F/m Emerald Special Situations ETF, focusing on company-specific catalysts and mispriced opportunities across sectors and market capitalizations.

Volpe maintains direct research responsibility for the Energy sector and brings expertise in identifying under-researched growth opportunities, leveraging Emerald's multi-step, fundamentals-driven research process. He holds a BA in Political Science from SUNY Potsdam, an MPA from Penn State, and is a CFA charterholder since 2002, recognized for his leadership, board service, and significant contributions to portfolio strategy and risk management in institutional and mutual fund vehicles.
