Steve Grandjean

Steve Grandjean is currently President of Grand-Jean Capital Management Inc., a San Francisco-based investment advisory firm he founded in 1990. In 2025, Grand-Jean Capital Management joined First Manhattan, where Steve now serves as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, continuing to guide high-net-worth individuals and families on long-term wealth strategies while leveraging First Manhattan's expanded research and investment solutions.

Grandjean's career spans leadership roles at major Wall Street institutions, including serving as General Partner and Managing Director at Salomon Brothers, and as a General Partner at Montgomery Securities, where he led the M&A division. His expertise covers public equities, fixed income, mergers and acquisitions, and bespoke portfolio management for private clients, with a focus on delivering highly tailored, research-driven investment strategies.

He holds an LL.B. from Harvard Law School (1967) and is recognized for his deep experience in asset allocation, client-focused wealth management, and leadership in the advisory community.
