Colleen Langan's questions to TE Connectivity (TEL) leadership

Question · Q4 2025

Colleen Langan followed up on the auto outlook, specifically the 4%-6% growth over market, asking if the slowing EV adoption in developed markets would keep TE Connectivity at the lower end of or below that range, or if other factors would offset this challenge.

Answer

CEO Terrence Curtin explained that while EV adoption is full steam ahead in Asia, slower adoption in other regions, potentially favoring hybrids over full EVs, impacts content. However, he emphasized that content growth is also significantly driven by Ethernet connectivity for autonomy, sensor suites, and software updates, as well as safety and comfort features. He believes content growth will be more balanced, with these other factors being almost as important as EV content, and plans to provide more detail at the upcoming Investor Day.
