- This amendment introduces an in-kind creation and redemption process as an alternative to the Trust's existing cash creation and redemption mechanism.
- Under the agreement, Baskets (aggregations of fractional undivided beneficial interest) can be created or redeemed by authorized participants in exchange for Bitcoin (BTC) or cash or Shares through The Depository Trust Company (DTC).
- For in-kind creations, the Authorized Participant delivers the Creation Basket Deposit (BTC) and any associated Cash Amount to the Trust's designated accounts.
