Stephen G. Berman

Stephen G. Berman is a seasoned executive who co-founded JAKK in January 1995 and has been instrumental in shaping the company’s direction. His leadership journey began at the inception of the company, and he has grown with it, taking on increasing responsibilities over the years. He is currently 60 years old.

Throughout his tenure at JAKK, he has consistently demonstrated his leadership capabilities. He served as the Chief Operating Officer until August 23, 2011, held the role of Co-Chief Executive Officer from February 17, 2009 to March 31, 2010, and then stepped into the position of Chief Executive Officer on April 1, 2010. Additionally, he has been the President since January 1, 1999 and assumed the role of Chairman on October 23, 2015, while also serving as the Secretary and a Class I Director since the company’s founding.

Before his influential career at JAKK, he built a solid foundation in the toy and distribution industries, having served as Vice President and Managing Director at THQ International, Inc. from October 1991 to August 1995, and as President and owner of Balanced Approach, Inc. from 1988 to 1991.
