James H. Litinsky holds a strong educational background, earning a B.A. in Economics, cum laude from Yale University, followed by a J.D. and M.B.A. from Northwestern University School of Law and the Kellogg School of Management.
He is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of MP Materials, a role he has maintained since the company was established, guiding its strategic direction and overseeing significant production milestones, including record-breaking output in rare earth oxides and NdPr oxide.
Before leading MP Materials, he built his career at Fortress Investment Group LLC, Omnicom Group, Inc., and Allen & Company, and he contributes his expertise as a board member for both the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
