Benedetto Vigna, born in 1969, is an Italian business leader noted for his extensive technical expertise and innovative contributions, particularly during his long tenure at STMicroelectronics. He began his career in 1995 and was instrumental in launching the company’s MEMS activities, eventually filing more than 200 patents while contributing to breakthroughs in connectivity, imaging, and power solutions.
Before taking on his current role, he held significant responsibilities, including serving as President of the Analog, MEMS, and Sensors Group and being a member of the Executive Committee at STMicroelectronics. His efforts helped establish the company as a market leader with major OEMs, especially in sectors demanding advanced sensor technologies.
