George Gumpert

George Gumpert is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Boston Partners Global Investors, Inc., where he leads the Boston Partners Small Cap Value, Small Cap Value II, and Small/Mid Cap Value strategies. Based in San Francisco, he specializes in small- and small/mid-cap equity investments, managing diversified portfolios with a value-oriented approach for institutional and individual investors. He joined Boston Partners in May 2000 and is recognized for his analytical rigor and disciplined investment process.

Gumpert’s expertise spans the small-cap equity market, focusing on identifying undervalued stocks across various sectors within the small-cap universe. Prior to managing these portfolios, he served as a research analyst specializing in small-cap sectors, where he developed deep insight into fundamental company analysis and portfolio construction for this asset class.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Amherst College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
