Danton Goei

Danton Goei is a Portfolio Manager at Davis Selected Advisers in New York, overseeing multiple funds including the Davis Large Cap, Global, International Portfolios, and actively managed equity ETFs such as the Davis Select US Equity, International, and Worldwide ETFs. Joining Davis Advisors in 1998, he has nearly three decades of industry experience and is responsible for managing global strategies with a focus on identifying undervalued companies worldwide.

Goei specializes in global equities, with a particular emphasis on international markets—most notably Asia and Europe—and has demonstrated expertise in sectors such as consumer products, financials, industrials, and technology. He is recognized for his high-conviction approach to international stock selection and has managed funds that selectively invest in attractive businesses across diverse geographies and industries.

Danton holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Davis, he worked at Bain & Company, Morgan Stanley Asia, and Citicorp, bringing a broad perspective and deep analytical skills to his investment process. His notable achievements include managing top-performing international funds and pioneering the launch of actively managed ETFs at Davis Advisors.
