Charlie Minor

Charlie Minor is an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Diamond Hill Capital Management, Inc., based in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on the firm’s fixed income investment strategies. In his current role, he is involved in portfolio construction and risk management, with a particular emphasis on structured products—including asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and other securitized fixed income instruments.

Having joined Diamond Hill in 2014, Charlie started as a Senior Product Analyst before transitioning to Structured Product Analyst, a position in which he played a key role in the growth and development of the firm's fixed income platform. He was part of the core team supporting the launch and management of strategies such as the Short Duration Securitized Bond and Core Bond strategies, contributing sector-specific expertise in structured finance and securitized assets.

Charlie earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance, Economics, and History from Miami University, including international study at the Dolibois European Center in Luxembourg. He holds the CFA charter and is recognized for his analytical acumen in structured fixed income assets, bolstering Diamond Hill’s capabilities in navigating complex sectors of the bond market.
