John Kroeger

John Kroeger serves as Managing Director of Information Technology at Diamond Hill Capital Management, Inc., based in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, he leads both application and infrastructure teams, overseeing all aspects of technology strategy, operations, and innovation critical to the firm's investment management activities.

While Mr. Kroeger does not directly manage investment portfolios, his expertise spans the deployment and optimization of technology systems that support trading, portfolio management, compliance, and data analytics across Diamond Hill’s long-only equity, fixed income, and alternative strategies. His work ensures robust infrastructure and security for investment operations, with deep experience in integrating financial technology platforms within asset management.

Previously, Mr. Kroeger advanced through several leadership roles at Diamond Hill, including SVP – Technology Director and SVP – Operations Executive, demonstrating extensive knowledge in investment operations and systems management. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University and additional credentials from The American College of Financial Services, and is recognized for driving digital transformation and operational excellence within the investment management sector.
