Melanie Del Rio

Melanie del Rio is an Institutional Client Manager at Fiera Capital Corp, based in Toronto. In her role, she is responsible for client servicing activities and relationship management for a diverse group of institutional investors, supporting the firm’s Canadian Institutional Distribution team. She acts as a key liaison between institutional clients and Fiera’s portfolio management experts, ensuring service excellence across mandates spanning traditional and alternative asset classes.

With over 15 years of industry experience, Melanie focuses on serving institutional entities such as pension funds, endowments, foundations, and other large asset owners. Her work covers a breadth of investment strategies offered by Fiera Capital, including equities, fixed income, and multi-asset solutions, as well as select alternative investments such as real estate and infrastructure.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA). Prior to joining Fiera Capital and its predecessor, she held analytical and client service roles at Foresters Asset Management Inc., Aegon Capital Management Inc., and Transamerica Life Canada. Her expertise in client service and performance analytics has earned her recognition for fostering lasting institutional relationships and driving positive client outcomes in the investment industry.
