Eric Charron is the Head of Global Trading at Liberty Mutual Investments, where he oversees the global trading division and manages trading operations from Boston, Massachusetts. In this capacity, Eric is responsible for optimizing trading strategies, improving trading process efficiency, and playing a key role in the execution of the firm’s investment strategies across global markets. His primary focus areas include market structure, electronic trading, and the strategic use of data to enhance Liberty Mutual’s trading capabilities.

Prior to his current role, Eric served as Director of Trading and Analytics and previously as Investment Officer at Liberty Mutual Investments, providing him with deep experience in both trading operations and investment analytics within the organization. His responsibilities have included managing fixed income trading as Liberty Mutual Investments actively trades for total return in fixed income markets, as well as contributing to broader initiatives in public and private market investments.

Eric holds a Master of Science in Statistics and an MBA in Finance from the University of Vermont, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is recognized for his expertise in fixed income markets, trading technology, and analytics, and has contributed to developing data-driven trading strategies integral to Liberty Mutual’s investment objectives.
