Dev Kantesaria

Dev Kantesaria is the Managing Partner and Founder of Valley Forge Capital Management, LP, a Miami-based investment firm managing over $4 billion in equity hedge fund assets. In this capacity, he leads the firm's investment strategy, focusing on identifying and holding high-quality, publicly traded companies with durable competitive advantages—often referred to as 'moats'—for long-term value creation.

Kantesaria is known for his disciplined, concentrated, long-biased equity investment approach, targeting large-cap stocks in sectors characterized by significant pricing power, such as business services, financials (including credit rating agencies), and technology. His methodology involves deep fundamental analysis, extensive research, and high-conviction positions aimed at finding compounding businesses with predictable earnings and strong organic growth.

Before founding Valley Forge Capital in 2007, Kantesaria held positions as General Partner at Devon Park Bioventures and Principal at TL Ventures, following his experience at McKinsey & Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science from MIT and a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School, reflecting a unique blend of scientific rigor and analytical expertise that informs his investment philosophy and decision-making process.
