Art DeGaetano

Art DeGaetano is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Bramshill Investments, LLC, based in Naples, FL. He leads the firm's investment strategies, with a particular focus on US fixed income, including investment grade and high yield corporate bonds, credit default swaps, and index products. As CIO, he oversees portfolio management, asset allocation, and risk analysis, drawing on over 30 years of experience in credit markets.

DeGaetano has developed extensive expertise in high beta sectors such as telecom, financials, and special situations within the credit spectrum. Before founding Bramshill in 2012, he managed US credit portfolios at GLG Partners and previously served as Head of US Credit Trading at RBS Greenwich Capital. Earlier, he was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns, where he led both high yield and investment grade trading teams, at times supervising trading teams handling multi-billion dollar gross positions.

He holds a B.A. from Colgate University and is known for his opportunistic, loss-probability-focused investment approach, especially effective during market dislocations. DeGaetano has been featured as a guest and commentator on platforms such as Bloomberg Surveillance, reflecting his status as a thought leader in credit investing. Outside of his professional work, he actively supports student-athlete programs and scholarships through a family foundation.
