Derek Pines

Derek Pines is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Bramshill Investments, LLC in New York, where he co-manages the flagship Income Performance Strategy with the firm’s CIO. He specializes in investment strategies focused on fixed income and exchange traded securities across both long-only and long-short vehicles, leveraging quantitative modeling and fundamental research to identify relative value within these markets.

Prior to joining Bramshill in 2012, Pines built over a decade of experience as a proprietary trader and portfolio manager leading multi-asset class strategies at firms such as Assent (Sungard Financial) and Chimera Securities, and also served as a management consultant in Accenture’s Core Trading Services Group. His investment expertise encompasses credit, corporate bonds, and structured products.

Pines holds a Masters Graduate Certificate in Algorithmic Trading in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University. His technical background and hands-on investment track record in the fixed income sector have established him as a key contributor to Bramshill’s growth and success in alternative asset management.
