Xiao Liu

Xiao Liu is a Managing Director at Alkeon Capital Management LLC in New York, where he leads initiatives in asset management and capital markets. At Alkeon since 2012, he is responsible for financial analysis, portfolio management, and investment strategy implementation, focusing on equities—including both US and international markets—as well as equity derivatives and emerging market opportunities.

Liu’s prior experience includes serving as Vice President in Asia/Japan Equity Sales at Morgan Stanley, where he gained deep expertise in equities, corporate finance, and derivative products. This foundation enables him to navigate complex global markets and to identify innovative investment solutions across sectors such as technology and emerging markets.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a master’s degree from Stanford University. Liu is recognized for his analytical rigor, strategic vision, and for advancing innovative approaches in asset management, making significant contributions to portfolio construction and risk management within the investment industry.
