Matt Wing

Matt Wing is an analyst at Alpine Peaks Capital, LP, where he applies over 15 years of investment experience to support the firm’s research and portfolio management. He joined Alpine Peaks in October 2023 and is based in the United States. In his current role, Wing specializes in equity research across public markets, leveraging a deep background in value-oriented and fundamental analysis.

Prior to joining Alpine Peaks, Wing founded and managed a private investment partnership. He has also held senior research analyst positions at Third Avenue Management’s Value Fund from 2017 to 2021, where he focused on global value equities, and at Causeway Capital Management from 2013 to 2017, where he contributed to international and global equity strategies. Wing’s earlier experience includes equity research roles at Sanford C. Bernstein and investment banking at Bank of America, providing him exposure to a broad array of sectors within public equities.

Wing is a CFA Charterholder and holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. His expertise covers value investing, global and international equities, and deep-dive fundamental analysis. Over his career, he has been recognized for his rigorous research contributions to institutional investment teams focused on diversified equity portfolios.
