Steven Boyd

Steven Boyd is the Founder, Managing Partner, and Chief Investment Officer of Armistice Capital, LLC, a New York-based hedge fund overseeing several billion dollars in assets. At Armistice Capital, he directs all investment strategy and manages portfolio decisions, focusing primarily on global long/short, value-oriented, and event-driven equities.

Boyd's investment expertise is concentrated in the healthcare and consumer sectors, frequently targeting companies in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods. He occasionally oversees opportunistic investments in related asset classes, maintaining an active portfolio spanning public equities with selective exposure across the capital structure.

Before founding Armistice Capital in 2012, Boyd held senior research roles at Senator Investment Group, York Capital (focusing on healthcare and consumer equities), and SAB Capital Management, and began his career as an analyst at McKinsey & Company. He holds a B.S. in Economics (with a finance concentration) and a B.A. in Political Science from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is recognized for his leadership in event-driven and value investing within the healthcare sector.
