Britt deVeer

Britt deVeer is a Portfolio Manager at Cinctive Capital Management LP in New York, where he focuses on investment management across equity and credit markets. His responsibilities include overseeing portfolios, sourcing and analyzing opportunities, and executing strategies for complex capital structures, with an emphasis on stressed and distressed assets within industrials and related sectors.

Prior to joining Cinctive, Britt held senior roles at prominent firms such as Soros Fund Management, where he was a Senior Analyst responsible for global industrial sectors as part of a long/short equity strategy, and Columbus Hill Capital Management, specializing in stressed and distressed companies. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director at Longacre Fund Management focused on distressed and leveraged-credit investing, and he started as an Analyst in investment banking and leveraged finance at Credit Suisse.

Britt holds an MBA in Analytical Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics from Trinity College-Hartford. With over two decades of experience, he is recognized for his expertise in identifying opportunities within stressed and distressed credit and equity, particularly within industrial sectors, and for his strong analytical skills applied to complex investment scenarios.
