Mark Friedman

Mark Friedman is the Founder, Principal, and Chief Investment Officer of DLD Asset Management, a New York-based firm specializing in relative value strategies across the equity, credit, and derivatives markets. At DLD, he oversees capital allocation to distinct, alpha-driven strategies—including event-driven, equity trading, volatility, and convertible bonds—positioning the platform to dynamically combine and diversify relative value investments.

With more than 30 years of experience in investment management, Mark has developed deep expertise in convertible bond arbitrage, relative value trading, and multi-manager hedge fund structures. Previously, he co-founded and served as CIO of AM Investment Partners, a convertible arbitrage-focused hedge fund, and held the position of Director at Deutsche Bank, where he led proprietary convertible bond trading.

Mark holds degrees in Economics and International Business from both New York University and Emory University. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the evolution of relative value and convertible bond strategies, and has been recognized for his ability to identify dislocations and generate risk-adjusted returns across volatile markets.
