Kumar Velayudham

Kumar Velayudham is a Portfolio Manager at Eisler Capital, based in New York, where he has served since October 2023. At Eisler Capital, a global multi-strategy investment firm, he is responsible for managing discretionary portfolios, leveraging his expertise to generate risk-adjusted returns across various asset classes within the firm’s dynamic platform.

Prior to joining Eisler, Kumar served as a Portfolio Manager at ExodusPoint Capital Management, LP, and spent over a decade at Och-Ziff Capital Management (now Sculptor Capital) where he held the role of Managing Director. Throughout his career, Kumar has focused on multi-asset strategies with a particular emphasis on macro and relative value opportunities, developing a strong track record in the management of complex investment products and risk across global markets.

He holds degrees from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Kumar’s background combines advanced technical training with deep experience in portfolio management, positioning him as an expert in navigating diverse sectors and asset classes in the alternative investment landscape.
