Kathleen Kelley

Kathleen Kelley is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in global macro portfolio management. She served as Portfolio Manager for global macro strategies at Kingdon Capital Management from 2005 to 2011, where she was responsible for managing macro-oriented portfolios with a particular focus on commodities, currencies, fixed income, and related macro asset classes.

Kelley's portfolio management expertise centers on commodities markets, including energy, metals, and agricultural sectors, as well as broader macroeconomic trends that impact these areas. Her work combines rigorous fundamental research with direct insights from physical commodity markets, contributing to differentiated investment strategies and market outlooks.

Prior to her tenure at Kingdon, Kelley held senior roles at Tudor Investment Corporation and Vantis Capital, further establishing her track record as a specialist in macro and commodity investing. She is the founder and CEO of Queen Anne’s Gate Capital, a commodity-focused research and consulting firm. Kelley holds a BA in economics with a mathematics minor from Smith College and a General Course degree in econometrics from the London School of Economics.
