Abhinav Jain

Abhinav Jain is an analyst at Nantahala Capital Management, LLC, where he focuses on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the specialty and generic pharmaceuticals sector. In this capacity, he performs deep-dive research, financial analysis, and due diligence to support the firm’s positions in public and private healthcare companies, with a particular emphasis on U.S.-listed pharmaceutical assets.

Prior to joining Nantahala, Mr. Jain built broad experience in private equity and structured credit at Angelo, Gordon & Co., and held roles in business development and advisory capacities, contributing to diverse investment strategies in alternative assets. He has also worked at firms such as PJ Solomon and InnoSepra, equipping him with a robust background in finance and strategic evaluation of both early-stage and established businesses.

Mr. Jain holds an S.B. in Chemical-Biological Engineering from MIT and an MBA with honors in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. His appointment to the Board of Directors at Eagle Pharmaceuticals as part of Nantahala's investment partnership is a testament to his significant industry insight and leadership in healthcare investing.
