Yash Chandak

Yash Chandak is a Quant Trader at Old Mission, a Chicago-based financial firm, where he leverages his expertise in computational mathematics and computer science to develop and execute quantitative trading strategies. Prior to joining Old Mission in August 2022, Chandak held technical leadership and developer roles at Code The Change, where he guided teams in software development focused on nonprofit and social good initiatives. He has also gained experience as a Quant Trading Intern at IMC, providing him exposure to high-frequency trading and electronic markets.

Chandak holds a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, with a minor in Business Finance, from the University of Southern California. His academic background and professional experience position him at the intersection of quantitative finance, technology, and algorithmic trading, contributing to innovation within financial markets, particularly in data-driven trading and risk management strategies.
