Alistair Mark Heaton-Armstrong is a Partner and Head of Business Development at Portman Square Capital, a London-based alternative investment management firm specializing in volatility trading across multiple asset classes, including equities and credit. In this role, he leads business development, key client management, onboarding, and the delivery of research and insight capabilities to clients.

Previously, Alistair served as Chief Executive Officer and later Partner, Business Development at Marble Bar Asset Management LLP, as well as CEO of Capstone Investment Advisors UK LLP, where he helped manage multi-billion-dollar hedge fund strategies and oversaw firm growth and client engagement. His considerable experience spans hedge fund management, business development, and client solutions within capital markets and alternative investments.

Alistair holds a degree in Geology, Geophysics, and Geography from the University of Bristol and also studied Mathematics and French at Caterham School. He is recognized for his leadership in business development and his focus on volatility-driven investment strategies, contributing significant expertise to the alternative asset management industry.
