Alex Edwards

Alex Edwards is a Research Analyst specializing in Manager Research at Prelude Capital Management, LLC, a global hedge fund adviser based in New York. In this role, Alex is responsible for conducting in-depth due diligence and evaluation of hedge fund managers and investment strategies, contributing to a portfolio with over $7 billion in capital allocations across a highly diversified range of asset classes and geographies. His research helps optimize the firm's portfolio offerings by uncovering alpha-generating opportunities and supporting the firm's strategic investment objectives.

Before stepping into his current role in February 2023, Alex served as a Research Assistant at Prelude Capital from July 2021, building expertise in manager selection, portfolio analysis, and market research. He began his finance career as a Wealth Management Intern at Morgan Stanley, further broadening his perspective on multi-asset investment solutions, and also completed internships at Prudential Financial and Jonathan Edwards Winery, gaining experience across wealth and investment management sectors.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Skidmore College.
