Matt Renna

Matt Renna is a former Senior Equity Analyst at RA Capital Management, with a primary focus on the healthcare and biotechnology sectors. In this role, he was responsible for conducting in-depth research and generating investment ideas within life sciences, drawing on his expertise in health sciences and finance.

His prior experience includes serving as Director at Neponset Equity Research, where he specialized in healthcare and biotechnology equity analysis, as well as earlier positions at Soleil Securities and Leerink Swann covering specialty pharmaceuticals. Throughout his career, Matt has developed a reputation for sector-specific insight, particularly in biopharma and life sciences markets.

Matt holds an MBA in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management, as well as MS and BS degrees from Boston University, graduating magna cum laude. He later furthered his investment career as Managing Partner at Westfield Capital Management, continuing his leadership in health care sector investment and portfolio management.
