Tess Cameron

Tess Cameron is a Principal at RA Capital Management, L.P., based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she serves on the investment team and plays a leadership role in strategic finance. She works closely with portfolio companies as a strategic finance advisor, focusing on shaping financial strategies and supporting corporate growth initiatives, particularly within the biotechnology and life sciences sector.

She brings over 15 years of experience in finance and healthcare, previously serving as Head of Finance at Foghorn Therapeutics and holding finance leadership roles at Wave Life Sciences and Biogen, where she was finance lead for both the CMO and neurodegeneration portfolio. Tess also brings expertise from her tenure at McKinsey & Co., where she specialized in corporate finance and transactions. At RA Capital, she serves on the boards of Medical Microinstruments, Inc. and Avilar Therapeutics, underscoring her involvement with early-stage and innovative biotech companies.

Tess holds a BA with a double major in Economics and Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto, and attended the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
